1-5 August, five days in which God chose to bless us with sun, sand, wind and plenty of children. All of those were the perfect ingredients for a unforgettable adventure in the desert.
The real adventure had started months before when the leaders team was formed. The 5 students (Mirela, Elvis, Bobi, Andreea and Diana) learned once more that learning for a failed exam is not the most difficult thing to do in a lifetime
. At first, we could not see the adventure behind the big challenges we had to face. We took every one of them and handed it to God and He transformed them in a wonderful experience. Below are mentioned the top 3 challenges.
Challenge No3 : money. We were on (very little) budget, but on huge creative minds. So, we used all the patience in the world plus a bunch of scissors, paper, glue, thread, needles, etc.

Banner - come and join the beduins!

Ready to work!
Challenge No2: children. There were many of them, all possible ages, from little 3 ones to 17 ados. Girls and boys. Naughty and less naughty. From Craiova and from Dunavat.

Games
Challenge No1: the message. The most important of all. How can you tell in 5 days the Good News so that these children would be saved?

The 10 commandments
We started with the law of Moses, the 10 commandments God left for us to follow. We tried to keep for one day only all 10 of them and guess what? we were not successful
.
Neither were we, nor Ananias or Sapphira. That was when we learned that God punishes the sin, and the punishment is terrifying: death!!!
We could tell how it felt to desperately need water: we had already been out in the desert for 3 days! Well, we could totally understand the women at the well. Moreover, we found out the we desperately need the water of life: Jesus Christ.
The forth day we (were) taught about the most important thing of all: Jesus’ death and resurrection. The most important of all!!!
Now that we know and we believe all we have to do is spread it around. Philip told us some little hints about how to do ministry.
Dear Lord, take the desert within us and bring in it the adventure of eternal life!
